A sturdy, reinforced waistband snaps shut in the back and supports over 4 yards of pleated material in the skirt.

In true Victorian style, the bustle skirt is intended to be worn over the top of another skirt (the underskirt). Pictured here with my Victorian Long Skirt, the Bustle Skirt would also look well over the top of a Hobble Skirt or A-Line Skirt.
