Measuring Tips:

  • Tie a string around your waist or put a piece of tape at your waist level.  This will help keep your waistline from "floating".

  • A woman's natural waistline is at the narrowest part of her torso; a man's waistline is a couple inches below his belly button (where the top of a pair of jeans rests)

  • What I call the "crotch" is the point between your legs where all the seams on a pair of jeans meet.

  • "Shoulder" in measurements 9 and 10 is where the seam joining the chest portion with the sleeve portion of your top should be.
